Learn it Town
Learn It Town is an online school that was founded at the beginning of 2013. Students attend classes in both 2D and 3D virtual learning environments. It is not necessary to know these platforms in advance because we train you.

Laura Jeffcoat holds a BFA, MA, Certified Counselor, TESOL certified, Pioneer in Immersive Technology for the last 8 years. Laura Jeffcoat is a behaviorist and pioneer in virtual education. She is the CEO of Learn It Town, LLC. She was involved with its start up and for almost 7 years has been involved in every aspect of the Community’s development. She is involved with the education and training, day to day operations, strategy and planning. She works daily to maintain and build a virtual educational global community.
Shelwyn Corrigan hold a Master’s degree in Digital Media & Learning, a Master’s degree in Linguistics and certification in Multimedia Studies. Shelwyn has worked in digital design since 1994. In addition, she has taught ESL and EFL in Europe, South America and at universities in California and New York.
Ana Gema Gallego Garcia is the COO of Learn It Town, LLC.She is TESOL certified, Human resources degree, Certified Vocational-training Educator, Business and learning coaching.

Ana Gema Gallego Garcia is the COO of Learn It Town, LLC. Ana Gema started as a language learner few years ago, she tried to learn English as a native Spanish speaker.
She tried to learn English with books and became just a basic learner so she thought what should I do next? So she went to and Language Academy in Gandia and her level still the same so she decided to go to a language school in London and spent a month in an immersive environment, then she had a private teacher and arrived to a pre-intermediate level.
After that she joined an immersive community with the teachers that are at Learn It Town and she went in 1 year from a pre-intermediate student to an advance English speaker.
Experience and Background
• She lives in Spain and speaks English and Spanish.

• She has been teaching Spanish and Beginning English in Learn It Town for two years.
Interesting Fact: She had lived in UK and USA. Ana enjoys playing team sports, music, cinema and spending time with her family and friends.

Experience and Background
Shelwyn has worked in digital design since 1994. In addition, she has taught ESL and EFL in Europe, South America and at universities in California and New York. Her interests are in teaching pronunciation, academic oral skills and the integration of new media in the classroom. She is a media consultant and designer, and has taught at the University of San Francisco since 2001. In 2011 she won the USF award for Innovation in Teaching with Technology, and in 2013 she won the USF Team Innovation Award. Shelwyn also received a national grant to innovate linguistic solutions to pronunciation problems. Ms. Jeffcoat is a developer of ESL educational gaming for different cultures. She is in daily direct contact with students and teachers from all over the world (over 74 countries) which has provided her with valuable insight on how to make language learning in virtual worlds engaging, user friendly and effective. She also has extensive experience managing the delivery of new digital products to a variety of educational and commercial institutions such as Pearson Education, Brazilian Government, Chevron, Emery-Roberts and many others.
Specialities: Virtual world’s experiential instructional design using guided cognition, product development and testing. Building a virtual world from the ground up, visually, auditory, using a faux tactile response with a gaming environment and building a community of content customers and students.

• Specialist in educational gaming environment, management and implementation.
• Specialist in the psychology of virtual learning.
• Adept with art tools, Photoshop, Illustrator and 3DS Max for prototype designs, background in Visual Communications Design community of content customers and students.
• Adept in the use of basic scripting.
