Hi Stew,
I am not a member of lelta, sorry. I worked in the background of the virtual-round-table conference which Heike Philp had organized. My task was to welcome all registered members, participants, listeners, presenters,.....! I dont know if there is a lelta in Austria. Never heard of that, sorry! Did you attend some of the conference presentations and how did you like it? Looking forward to your reply.
best regards from Austria

Hi Stew,
Oh, I know why: You haven't joined the Yahoo group yet.
If you don't want to bother (you do get heaps of email, but it's good, BESIG folk), here's the email:
"Hi all,
I forgot to say that if you send me your conference materials please do so
directly to eric.baber@besig.org rather than to the discussion group.
Thanks!
Eric"

Thanks for writing! Your Trans-Lingo website looks very nice indeed :) I had a first quick read of your presentation, too, and was just wondering: What is a half-way party? I've moderated that kind of distance group work on my Moodle site, too, but these days I just have face to face clients. Peer corrections using a grid we develop for essays and presentations and such is a fave of mine.
A whole bunch of presenters have uploaded their presentations to the BESIG site http://www.besig.org/events/conf2009/materials.htm by answering an email from Eric Barber. Did you get that? I converted into pdf.

Welcome Stew,
please enjoy the first virtual-round-table conference with 35 guest speakers. Feel free to add ideas and questions in the virtual classroom text chat. We are very much looking forward to your comments and feedback.
Have a nice day.
