Hi Monica,

With great interest I read your short biography. Allow me to paste this onto your 'wall' so that others can get to know you better.

Monica Thomas is the managing director and founder of Ad_Lib Language Service Ltd which runs an online English language schools Ad_Lib English and Ad_Lib Business.

In June 2000 Monica graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland, having obtained a Masters degree in English Philology, and began her career as a free-lance English language tutor.

In 2004 she relocated to London (UK) and obtained a formal qualification from London School of Public Relations and Branding. After gaining some invaluable, hands-on, experience in online communications and marketing, she decided to utilize her newly-acquired skills in the field of online learning.

Ad_Lib English.com came to existence in September 2008. IInitially, its services were directed at the Polish community in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. However, due to the diminishing numbers of Polish migrants in these countries – caused by the current recession – in July 2009, Ad_Lib English opened up to the world accepting students from countries as diverse as Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation.

With over 1,200 registered users, we believe that Ad_Lib English is at the beginning of a difficult but exciting journey.

Actually the tag we are using for the conference is #vrt09 - thanks for asking, I meant to publish a bigger note at the front of the conference site.

I only mentioned it at the bottom of the description.
