I also teach Serbian online and create language learning sites and digital language learning materials.

About myself

Co-founder of CommonEnglishPhrases , YLE Starters, Movers, Flyers-LeWiNoW , Engleski za Početnike as well as sites for learning Serbian Online School of Serbian, and Learn Serbian Blog .

I have been teaching English and managing a private language school for 15 years now. This dual aspect of my work gave me invaluable insights into language school dynamics and enabled me to comprehend and empathize with students', teachers' and school owners' problems, needs and aspirations.

I believe that technology has enriched learning experience to such a great extent that it cannot be denied, especially by teachers.

In order to keep track of all the superb sites and online materials I use in the classroom, I started my own Educo11 blog :o)

It would be great to connect our kids, though at the moment my primary class are beginners. We only had 4 lessons so far, but they are very enthusiastic. I find that they are so much more motivated if they have a specific goal (not learning English), e.g. creating something and then letting people know about it. I also teach through Prkofiev's Peter and the WOlf, combining teaching music and language, plus drama and art and crafts. This will turn into an online project as well at some point.
My 5-8 group are at A1 level, so they could most probably enjoy communicating through voki. Voxopop is a wonderful tool. I just set up a speaking tutorial, but it's all in the tesing phase, and my recordings were done off the top of my head. The tutorials are for teenage+ learners at the moment, but I might think of something similar for kids. As it is only in the test phase, don't want it to be public, becuase the quality is not there yet. However, if you are interested in testing it with a couple of teenagers, I can send you the link and give access to a couple of kids you recommend. It would be important for me to have teenagers or adults who are willing to give honest feedback. This is the only way I can develop a good speaking tutorial. Oh, yes, and the other thing is that the sts need to be at B1 level already to understand what I'm saying. But we can talk about this as well, adjust level, etc.
