ipadio and audioboo
Two apps for recording students speaking. Both have free apps for iPhones and Androids. ipadio < 60 minutes, audioboo <10 minutes Both can autopost to WordPress, so perfect for compiling e-portfolios of spoken English.
I teach English as a Foreign Language to adults in Barcelona, Spain. My students record themselves every class, usually a number of times. Mainly they use ipadio to record real communication with their partner and audioboo for pronunciation, language practice.
They turn in their best communicative recording every two weeks for me to grade and give them feedback on, but I follow them all using Feedly and try to listen to as many recordings as possible
