Heike Philp nee Gensch is CEO of let’s talk online sprl (founded 2003, now based in Brussels) which provides technology support for language learning and events in real-time via the internet. Previously she held the position as general manager of LANCELOT School GmbH i.L., an accredited teacher training center for language teaching in real-time via the internet by means of virtual classroom technology and virtual worlds. With over 20 years in education and with Germany’s first live online language school, Philp co-initiated two European funded projects and worked with 35 European partners including 17 universities to develop accredited and certified teacher training courses.  These EU Projects are LANCELOT (LANguage learning with CErtified Live Online Teachers) and AVALON (Access to Virtual and Action Learning live Online. Her latest EU project CAMELOT is still proposal stage. Philp runs her own online conference, the Virtual Round Table conference and is co-organizer of DaFWEBKON, a web conference for teachers of German,  SLanguages Annual Symposium about language learning in virtual worlds. She co-owns EduNation islands in Second Life and her blog let’s talk online is a rich resource for language educators with hundreds of events recordings. Currently she lives in Brussels and amongst others conducts web conferences and webinars for the British Council.

Shelly Sanchez Terrell is a teacher trainer, author, and international speaker. She has co-founded and organized the acclaimed educational projects Edchat, The Reform Symposium E-Conference and the ELTON nominated Virtual Round Table language and technology conference and ELTon nominated ELTChat. Her prolific presence in the educator community through social media has been recognized by several notable entities, such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Microsoft Heroes of Education. Berni Wall has been an English language teacher, teacher trainer, examiner and mentor since 1977. She has taught University, Further and Higher Education, as well as 6 years of Primary school. She has also worked as a teacher trainer and as an English Language Examiner. After studying for an MBA in 1989/90 Berni set up her own English language training business delivering corporate language training for large multinationals, SMEs and government agencies. She moved online and launched her training website Gapfillers (www.gapfillers.com) in 2006 to help fill language gaps and bridge the gap between lessons for corporate clients. Gapfillers also offers teacher-supported intensive training programmes in English for work and IELTS. She is currently other developing online programmes aimed at IELTS students who require bands 7 and 8 (such as the IELTS Writing Boot Camp) and will shortly be launching a new website ‘IELTS Learning Tips’ devoted to this. Berni’s offline work centres around intensive, immersion programmes (1&2 weeks) in Yorkshire (Fleetham Lodge) for small groups of adult, professional students. These programmes also include CPD workshops for English language teachers. She is a veteran ELTON nominee having been nominated no less than 3 times, for Gapfillers, Virtual Round Table and Eltchat! Steven Herder has been teaching within the Japanese EFL context since 1989. Having over 20 years teaching experience at the elementary and secondary school level, he is currently an assistant professor in the International Studies department at Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts. He is also extremely active in professional development within the ELT community. He co-founded MASH Collaboration in 2007, an online community devoted to professional development through collaboration. He is an avid user of Skype and can often be heard saying, "Collaboration creates just the right amount of tension to get lots done." He also spends time editing numerous articles, academic volumes and proceedings, and leading teacher training seminars for various companies throughout Japan. Steven works from the perspective that, "being a teacher means a never-ending commitment to learning".

Jennifer Verschoor is an EFL teacher specialised in online teaching, mobile learning and training via virtual learning environments. Recently completed her MA in Virtual Environments. She has extensive experience as a teacher trainer  both face-to-face and online. She obtained scholarships from WorldCALL, Norwich Institute for Language Education, The Consultants-e and IATEFL. Currently, she is working as a teacher trainer for the British Council, English Speaking Scholastic Association of the River Plate, SBS International and Programa E-ducadores validated by Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. She is the co-author of "My first digital journey" an e-book for young learners published by The Round.
