MachinEVO 2013

Come join us for MachinEVO http://machinevo.pbworks.com, a free EVO* session workshop in Second Life for language educators to learn how to produce machinima. The word machinima is derived from machine+cinema and is the use of real-time 3D environments for cinematic productions. Moving pictures, sound and stories are the most powerful way of communicating learning content.

Over a period of 5 weeks (14 Jan - 17 Feb, participants will learn how to produce videos from storyboarding to final editing to publishing. As language educators we focus on how to use these videos in class and how to immerse our language learners in creating their own productions.

Pre-requisite. Experience in Second Life is a must.
