Enhancing Video Activities with EDPuzzle

EdPuzzle provides instructors and students the tools to quickly manipulate existing YouTube videos to create engaging and relevant learning events. It allows you to use only what you need from any video. You can crop, insert audio notes, record over a video with your voice, and add questions at any point in the video and track your students' understanding. An example will be presented which participants can use as an introductory activity with students in the future. The steps to use all of the features of EdPuzzle will also be demonstrated and provided in this session. If the participants choose, they can create their own interactive learning event along with the workshop leader.

John Allan is currently an English as a foreign language Instructor at the College of the North Atlantic in Qatar. He is also a TESL Ontario guest blogger and a member of the TESL Ontario Social Media Committee.
