Teacher training in EFL context so far has been very much influenced by theories which are not always from research in EFL context. It is not fully wrong but it is time for training programmes and activities to touch the ground by looking at the classroom in related context. Training room should be the transformation of the English classroom. Challenges and pitfalls in classrooms should be the focus of discussion in the training room in order to make the training more effective. Theories should not be exposed to teachers but should be translated into actions by the trainers.
