Gerhilde Meissl-Egghart, Talkademy co-initiator and project partner of the AVALON project team joins us live in the in-world, in Second Life. Meeting place: AVALON Learning island in Second Life.
AVALON is a 2-year funded project aimed at exploring language learning in virtual worlds with one of the results of the project being scenarios for teaching and learning a language as well as a training course for language teachers.

Thank you for that! Unfortunately due to the problems with the connection, I missed the beginning of the presentation, Luckily I was in time to watch Gerhilde and others walk about the island. Really impressive! I have heard about the SL and even signed up some time ago but never took time to explore it. Thanks to the presentation, I feel like doing it now. There's lots of potential. Thanks!
