Aydan Acar Yavuz: How to Motivate Online Learners

It is true that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink but maybe there are things, we -as teachers- can do to make the online learning experience more engaging and the learners more comfortable and therefore willing to participate in online classes. In this presentation, I hope we can share some ideas how to accomplish that and also come up with some fresh ideas.

Aydan Yavuz is a head teacher at a language school and she has about 10 years of teaching experience in multilevel adult ESL and ESP(for IT) courses. In the classroom, she loves using what the newest technology offers. She studied English Language and Literature at Istanbul University. In addition to teaching, she is also interested in literary translation.
