Hi Ylva,

Allow me to paste this as you described this to me here. This might sound strange but NING publishes other people's comments on your page, this is why I simply have to 'retweet' this here. (Dont we love Twitter?)

I do the research partly for my university, but also as a member of the French laboratory Réseaux, Territoires et Savoirs at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris (http://barthes.ens.fr/atelier/). The book is almost in print. It will be published in French and, of course, it would be good to have it translated into English. I'm not there yet though, since I haven't looked for that kind of funding. I also have an article about SL and literature teaching in Swedish that will be published really soon in a peer-reviewed Danish journal. Would be good to have some feed-back form the english-speaking part of the world.

Maybe this network knows about how to proceed in academic translation matters?

In springtime a small research project about Second Life and learning will be funded by the Swedish Foundation for Cooperation in Research and Education and it will benefit the Swedish National Centre for Lifelong Learning, ENCELL, where I'm one in the staff (http://www.hlk.hj.se/doc/5959).

For this research I would be delighted to share thoughts, ideas and research with others.

Hi Ylva,

This is truly amazing what you do and permit me to republish this on your member site because this is awesome.

Are you doing your research work on your own or for a University? Will you write the booklet in French about Second Life and are looking for someone to translate it?

You are teaching French with Adobe Connect and virtual worlds in language and literacy courses. This sounds as if this conference seems just the right one for you.

Let's hope truly that baby waits until the weekend (they normally do) so that you can enjoy some of the sessions and I am looking forward to meeting you.

Please also feel free to share this information with other teachers.

So, we are happy to have you in the network!
