Quizlet is an online tool and mobile app for creating flashcards. The standard format for vocabulary flashcards is a word or term on one side and L1 translation, definition or picture on the other. Studying vocabulary with flashcards aids memorizaton and recall but unfortunately doesn't give learners much information about how new words should be used. We will look at simple strategies you can use and "tweaks" you can add to Quizlet flashcards to make them more effective and usage-oriented.

After working for 10 years for the British Council he recently decided to strike out on his own and devote more time to his PhD.
